I just posted my first ever youtube video!
I know what you are thinking, "K, seriously Tarna, have you really been hiding under a rock all these years?" What a loser I must be right, well wrong! I may be a bit geeky and probably pretty weird, but I am damn proud of myself at the moment. :) I was always skeptical of posting too much on the internet but you know what, YOLO! Lol sorry, I couldn't help that one. I really do hope you guys like my video, I decided to do my first post on reviewing the various types of hair extensions I have tried throughout the years and just my own opinions on them cause it is something I feel I have a decent amount of knowledge on and I am trying to help the herd along if you know what I mean. Thanks for taking the time to watch and stay tuned for what is next!

Helllooo loveys!! So I am still in the middle of packing but I thought I would share this photo from a few months ago. This is my first set of VOLUME LASHES that I ever did! I worked so hard to master single sets before I even started to touch volume and practiced my tush off until I finally had my "aha" moment! I love love love doing eyelash extensions and thank goodness for Sherene (who I met at Imaj Institute) for introducing me to the wonderful world and art of lash extensions! I have since improved tremendously on my volume lash applications and will post more photos later on! I just wanted to share where I started out. :) Hope everyone has a productive day, with joy in your hearts! xoxoxo

Catch UP!
So, now a little bit about myself, and then I am done posting for tonight and we can get started on everything else later this week! I am actually getting ready for a trip back home to Arizona~~!
After moving back to Illinois about a year ago, where I grew up most of my childhood, I have faced many unforeseen challenges that have made me truly grateful for all of my close family and friends that helped me settle into my new life! It all began with a boy in the fourth grade.... then I broke his heart, but that was NOT the end! How amazing is the internet huh!?? Who would have thought the love of my life would have been right here all along, a mere comment on facebook catapulting us into a whirlwind fairy-tale romance?!! Oh but it did, and that is just the beginning! I am truly blessed and I am the happiest I have ever been. After a not so normal child-hood, followed by a terrifying adolescence and runaway escape/enlistment into the US Navy... ended up in a few terrible relationships that had me hauling back to wonderful Arizona. Throw in a couple years of college pool parties and club life, I finally managed to pull my head out of my ass (pardon the lingo) and back into school, where I enrolled at Imaj Institute in Scottsdale. A choice that forever changed the path my life was meant to take, bringing me to a future that is yet to be filled with endless happiness, laughter, and beauty!
Imaj Institute, by the way is a school for advanced medical aesthetics and laser technology. I became interested in this field after moving back in with my mother, where I had been going through some deep spiritual changes, and doing yoga about 5 days a week. I have always been a bit of a brainiac, and I wanted to help people feel good about being themselves, in their own skin, and still be able to challenge my mind. The beauty guru that my mother is, helped me along by mentioning it one day while going through all 50 steps to her at-home skin care regimen. It was like a light bulb went off, and it just clicked. I knew what I finally wanted to focus on.
Now, I am sure many of my colleagues will disagree with Imaj's credentials and teaching methods, seeing as the whole time I was there, felt like I was trapped in some sort of an almost senior-citizen-sorority/beauty queen pageant. I am not going to sugar-coat it, I was a bit of an assertive asshole back then, but it doesn't excuse the fact that going to that school was kind of like being in an episode of "Girl Interrupted," that is if the movie ever did get made into a television series. And that's all I have to say about that. Anyways, I tried to stay focused on the big picture, passing my finals, state-boards, and getting my license. Of course I accomplished all of the former, and it felt great! But here is the best part, while I was at Imaj, I met an eccentric, yet brilliantly talented woman. She introduced me to something I never thought I would ever come to have such an intense, insatiable passion for: Eyelash Extensions!! This lovely art has truly changed my life, opened up all kinds of doors, and I am so excited to be talking about this, along with my passion for everything else beauty! So thank you for reading, and please stay tuned for my next post! I have to start planning what to pack, I leave on Thursday!
Have a productive day, and keep joy in your heart :)

Welcome to my Blllog!
Hello lovely peeps! I would like to welcome you all to this new and exciting venture in my life! I have been online non-stop as of late, seemingly catching up on all the crazy, fun, and exciting things going on in the w cubed! I know I am way behind the times when it comes to blogging about fashion, makeup, all things girl, and current events alike, but I am so happy to be able to take the time to really focus on my true passion, which of course is making all you lovely ladies, (and gents?) some stunning, fashionably-fit, ready-to-take-on-the-world go-getters! At least that is what I truly am starting this blog for. I want to share my love for lash extensions, as well as my passion for fashion, makeup, all things to do with beauty, both inside, and out! So feel free to email me, to comment if you ever have any questions about whatever it is that is on your mind, and I hope you enjoy all of my future posts, as I know I will enjoy sharing them with you all! Have a productive day, with joy in your hearts! :)
